Last Wednesday night we began a new study for adults, and from the introduction it looks like it will be a good one. The books aren’t in yet, but Chuck Hampton took us through the first chapter of James and we discussed beginning thoughts, such as...

   ...is it easier to accept the fact that we will be faced with temptation, rather than the fact that we will have trials? As Christians, we CAN endure and overcome the trials of life - that’s a guarantee. (James 1:2-6)

   ...do you sometimes feel it is easier to have a strong prayer life than to have a strong Bible study life? As Christians, we have a responsibility to the word of God. (James 1:21-25)

We encourage you to come this Wednesday night at 7 p.m. for the study. If you need a ride, contact one of the elders or another member to arrange carpooling. A good class happens because people participate - we need you!
