Greetings from the Charles Town Church of Christ
The Charles Town Church of Christ welcomes you to our web site and would like to invite you to attend one of our services if you are in the Charles Town, WV area. We are a loving, caring, God centered congregation of believers who strive to do the Lord's work. We are located very close to the Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia borders.
We believe God's Word, the Bible, to be true and would like to use every opportunity to spread the "good news" that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior. The Bible instructs on how we are to worship. The book of John, chapter 4, verse 24 tells us not only that we are to worship God, but it tells us how we must worship, it says worship God "in Spirit and truth". This is what we are earnestly trying to do at Charles Town.
Charles Town is a growing congregation, with about 70 worshipers on Sunday morning. We have Bible classes for all ages before the Sunday morning worship service and at the mid-week Bible study on Wednesday nights.
Please feel free to search our site, call or e-mail us or visit with us whenever you have the opportunity.
We believe the Bible is the only authoritative source for practicing God's will. Here are some of the basic teachings we follow at Charles Town.
